Disposal of Furniture (Public) |
Except for giving away to your friends, the cheapest way to get rid of your furniture is to call municipal office. The prices of the disposal differs according to the size and types of furniture.
Phone call booking is essential. Around 2 weeks will be necessary before actually collection date. On the day of collection, furniture shall be placed outside your building with tickets like right photo.
Tickets are sold at supermarkets and other convenient stores.
Fee example: over 2 seater sofa is 1,600 yen, desk is 2,200 yen at Setagaya

When disposing following appliances, additional recycling fee is required by Law for Recycling of Special Kinds of Home Appliances
